Calling all young artists!

The National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum has announced its' first national Youth Art Contest, "Me As A Miner." The purpose of the contest is to explore mining occupations.  The contest is open to youth ages 4-18 residing in the United States.  Artists may use any medium (except graphic design) on a single flat sheet no larger than 9x12. Entries will be accepted through September 1, 2018.


 


The winner's art will be displayed at the 31st National Mining Hall of Fame Induction Banquet on September 29th, 2018 in Denver, CO as well as in the museum before a national audience.  Prize money will be awarded for First, Second, and Third place in two age divisions 4-12 & 13-18.
